This residential villa project required architectural elements that would enhance both durability and visual character. The client aimed to create a distinctive high-end property featuring strong design details, refined finishing, and long-term structural protection. The design included perimeter walls, landscaped boundaries, entry zones, and key outdoor areas. For this purpose, custom precast Wall Coping was selected to serve both functional and aesthetic roles.

The main challenge of the project was to design custom Wall Coping elements that would precisely match the architectural style of the villa, which combined modern and classical influences. Each piece had to be dimensionally accurate, perfectly aligned with wall structures, and visually consistent with the main facade materials. During the planning stage, design meetings were held with the architect and project engineer to determine the profile shapes, joint spacing, and water-drip edge (drip channel) specifications.
A preliminary 3D model was created to test coverage, proportion, and alignment within the landscape layout. Using this model, prototype precast units were developed for approval. The selected material was fiber-reinforced architectural precast concrete, chosen for its resistance to moisture penetration, freeze-thaw damage, and surface erosion. A light warm gray tone was applied to ensure a complementary match with the villa facade and surrounding landscape elements.
In the production phase, over 180 linear meters of custom precast Wall Coping were manufactured. This included pieces for the perimeter walls, pool area boundary, upper terrace edges, and the main entrance pillars. Each piece was manufactured with consistent surface texture and carefully shaped drip edges to prevent water damage.
During installation, the precast units were fitted using mechanical anchors and mortar bedding. The precision of the precast manufacturing significantly reduced on-site modifications and installation time. The result was a clean, continuous architectural finish that enhanced the overall symmetry, visual appeal, and structural protection of the walls.
